Randy
I would like to ask if you know or can recommend about taking a hedge short option to cover a percentage offset position one has in physical Gold and silver in the event we do get a large down side volatility spike over the next 60 days or so.
I do not do options but it sounds like a good idea to take a insurance policy vs selling ones holdings and paying premiums to sell and buy.

In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/gold-silver-gdx-gold-miners-trade-ideas-10-31-24/#comment-33999">jmccallum</a>.

Thx & best of luck. Seems like you've been doing very well on the miners lately.

Keep in mind this has been a liquidity-driven market, driving up nearly all things risk-on such as equities, crypto, & even the PM's & miners. Lots of the same folks loaded up on any or all of the above, many on margin so if, nay...when the tide turns, we are likely to se the miners fall along with stocks & crypto. Likely but certainly not guaranteed. G-luck!

Nice job Randy, you always say that you present the info and we can choose to take it. I'm using this pullback to the trend line to add positions. I couple of my smaller gold miners have turned green today. I think NEM is used to discourage people to invest in gold miners. Nobody could possibly run a company so poorly unless they really tried.
