If the current correlations continue, that would be the reasonable assumption but the inverse relationship between Treasuries &amp; the stock market has been on &amp; off in recent years so it is certainly possible to see further weakness in the stock market with Treasuries moving lower at the same time. However, the TBT/TLT trade is largely contingent on the oversold bounce scenario for the stock market which I thought had a good chance to play out this week, but didn&#039;t &amp; may or may not play out next week. Probably moot anyway as TBT is currently poised to be stopped out at the close today (I prefer to close end-of-day stop trades just before the closing bell if it is certain the security will close below the daily closing stop price).]]></description>
