I'll try to make a point to touch on at least a few of the breadth indicators that warranty highlighting at this time in the next video and/or via static charts in a home page post.

I post a lot of comments & replies to other's questions or comments in these comment threads below the home page posts. I prefer not to inundate everyone's with tons of emails, many of which aren't actionable, timely or even useful to most.

In the videos, I often suggested checking the recent comment threads on the site for those interested in comments & replies such as these. When I do post a reply that I think more than just the originally commenter might benefit from, I do make those a separate home page post or include the comment/reply and any relevant charts in my next video.

My PAAS daily & weekly charts with levels. As with AEM (and GDX, for that matter) my convictions or read on the near-term direction are not strong at this time, especially after GDX hit & reversed off T2 in the pre-market session today. However, note the price action following previous divergent highs & divergent lows on both time frames (also note the current divergences).

I'm not crazy about the fade of yesterday's big earnings beat pop but as of now, VERV is trading around the recent lows (4ish area/support) & still above the big breakaway gap from mid April which is when I first highlighted it in one of the trade ideas videos. My preference is to only add on strength above current levels, especially on a break above the recent highs, not below. Here's the daily chart.

I'll start with AEM. On the weekly chart below, AEM has recent made a solid breakout to new highs above the key 89ish resistance that has capped all bull runs for over a decade. That is clearly bullish until & unless the breakout CLEARLY fails (a solid & sustained drop back below 89).

While there aren't any resistance levels in which to use as potential upside targets when a stock is trading at ATH's, it's hard to say how much further the stock might run.

What I can say is that there is a fairly well defined uptrend line (bottom of the current ascending price channel shown on the weekly) which would trigger an objective short entry or stop-loss on a long position, if & when clearly taken out, ideally on a weekly closing basis.

If so, any or all of the marked levels (3 price support levels + the primary uptrend line) on the weekly chart could be targeted for a short trade and/or used to go long, if the charts indicate a reversal off any of those levels is likely.

I've also included my daily chart with some nearby levels as well as older support levels further below that I haven't gotten around to deleting or revising yet.

Funny you ask. I've closely followed & traded the miner for years & historically, most of the majors would move in a very tight correlation with each other (and of course, GDX). However, over the past year or so, I've noticed some unusual divergences in the charts of some.

As such, I'll take a look at the two you mentioned & post the charts in a new comment/reply in under this thread asap.

Good morning,
Randy, it would be nice if you would update the charts of AEM and PAAS with T1/T2/T3 or is it enough to follow GDX for entries in individual miners? Many thanks.
