In that reply from a week ago, I stated the potential for a wash-out move (potential bear trap) below the recent lows. That has now happened and while any position taken back then should have an allowance for this marginal new (and still divergent) low, the best bet before adding to an existing position or initiating a new position would to wait for a buy signal to come on a solid break above this downtrend line and the intersecting 2.77ish former support, now resistance (which would trigger my bear-trap/wash-out scenario laid out last week & likely spark a short-covering rally coupled with natural (long-side) buying stepping in as well). Personally, I don’t plan to gamble by taking it ahead of earnings, but it’s a nice-looking setup on UBER. Buy signal to come on a solid break above the downtrend line and/or 200-day MA’s just above it, ideally once earnings are out of the way. Here’s my daily chart with some potential targets, should it trigger a buy signal(s).
