GBTC is a trade setup with some potentially bullish developments on the charts as outlined in the post above. I’d like to see how it trades this week & possibly in the coming weeks before adding it as an active/official long trade.

I will add that GBTC trades similar to a closed-end fund in which it can trade at a premium or discount to the funds NAV, depending on the supply/demand forces behind it. Opened-ended ETFs (those most are familiar with such as SPY or XLF) are priced to accurately reflect the NAV (prices) of all the holdings within the ETF at any giving time, for the most part with a few rare exceptions such as flash-crashes.

With that being said, other that buying & selling Bitcoin through one of the crypto-platforms, which I am not familiar with nor can I access via my brokerage account or by trading /BRR (Bitcoin futures), which has a rather large minimum & ridiculous margin requirements (i.e.- /BRR is a big-time capital/buying power burner), there aren’t many options for a direct play on Bitcoin besides GBTC that I am aware of.
