I'm seriously considering it & will personally be going home short the Q's today but to add it as an official trade today would be somewhat of a gamble since MSFT reports after the close today. With that being said, if I do make it official, I'll do my best to point out the increased risk of opening gaps against any position on the indexes, long or short, in the coming weeks, as we are heading into the thick of earnings season.

The downside is that the increased volatility increased the chance of brief-stop runs while the flip side is that if you sit on your hands for the next several weeks until the bulk of companies have already reported ---AND--- the technicals (which are still pointing to a big correction IMO) being to play out as earnings roll out going forward, then at that point one might have missed a good part of the next leg down & no longer have an objective shorting opp.

As such, you may see some individual stocks, as well as sector & index ETFs, added as official trades in the coming days/weeks but official or not, each trader needs to decide whether or not that meshes with their own unique risk tolerance & comfort level.
