No, futures are never official trade ideas as I realize that many retail traders & investors don’t have the experience, knowledge, and/or capital requirements to trade futures. Official trades are always individual stocks or ETF’s/ETNs. The only active (official) trades on the site right now are the GLD long & the XLF long.
I’ve been actively posting analysis & price targets on SPY, QQQ, /ES & /NQ & have made my outlook for those pretty clear for those interested in trading them. I just figured that I would choose XLF as the proxy for attempting to gain from a bounce in the stock market since my expectation was (as per yesterday’s video) that it would likely outperform both SPY & QQQ if the market were to rally this week & so far, that has clearly been the case (XLF +11.44% on the day as I type vs. SPY +8.2% & QQQ +6.9%)

Certainly possible but I’ve since closed out my FAS (proxy long for XLK) and /ES longs as I expect a tradable pullback off the (since revised) first target on XLF of 19.68.

XLF looks poised to break the trend line. Perhaps, the stimulus will be announced, which will drive it over. SPY is sitting at 241. Pelosi and McConnell are saying they are imminently close to a stimulus agreement.
