One thing that I should of added is that whether I decide to hold out for additional targets (&lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;Second Profit Target&#039;&gt;T2&lt;/abbr&gt;, &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;Third Profit Target&#039;&gt;T3&lt;/abbr&gt;, etc..) on trades with multiple targets, or book partial profits &amp; let the rest ride to the next target, depending on several variables. Some of the most important are:
-How to the charts look as the trade approaches a price target? Are there bullish or bearish divergences? Does it appear that a significant &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;1) A bounce/pullback off support/resistance and/or a temporary consolidation around that level following a well-established trend leading up to that point. 2) A reaction low or high is a distinct point where the price of a security changed direction.&#039;&gt;reaction&lt;/abbr&gt; off that level is very likely?
-What is the outlook for the sector that trade belongs to and/or broad market as it approaches a target? If I&#039;m long a stock approaching &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;First Profit Target&#039;&gt;T1&lt;/abbr&gt; while the sector is belongs to looks to be headed lower, I might book full profits there or at least tighten up stops at that point.]]></description>
