All those commodities are in the index but the $CRB tracks a very diverse & broad basket of commodities so I don’t think one can really say how that index sheds light on those particular trades. Best to analyze each on their own technicals (charts) and if you are going to lump any together, you’d want to do so by related types (e.g.- hard commodities, soft commodities, ag commodities, oil & gas, industrial metals, etc..) Here’s what the $CRB is made up of:

Thomson Reuters/CoreCommodity CRB Index is calculated using arithmetic average of commodity futures prices with monthly rebalancing. The index consists of 19 commodities: Aluminum, Cocoa, Coffee, Copper, Corn, Cotton, Crude Oil, Gold, Heating Oil, Lean Hogs, Live Cattle, Natural Gas, Nickel, Orange Juice, RBOB Gasoline, Silver, Soybeans, Sugar and Wheat. Those commodities are sorted into 4 groups, with different weightings: Energy: 39%, Agriculture: 41%, Precious Metals: 7%, Base/Industrial Metals: 13%.

I don’t believe so. Many of the more thinly traded inverse ETFs were retired by their issuers in the past year or so. However, I don’t believe there ever was an inverse ETF/ETN for copper but you might want to try a Google search to verify.

I find it bullish that $JO keeps defending the $34 level, so I cycled back in with a small position.

I am tempted to sell JO today as well.
