Of course anything could happen like you said and we can rally back to new highs, but suppose this is the one we've been waiting for, the next dot com bubble, the next financial crisis 2.0. etc, could the bear market reach the covid lows of each index?
I wager there be a bounce of the covid highs on the indices too (T4), but with the repercussion of almost limitless QE, high inflation, war, meme stocks, everything bubble, I am thinking the bear market will exceed 50%. I have a figure of around 65% in my head where I will close my short positions and be happy to take this opportunity of a lifetime.
As mentioned before I'm well aware it could just u-turn around and rally but thought I'd share a piece of my mind and targets.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the Q's cut right thru T2 although as of now, the odds still favor a reaction off the initial tag of that level but we'll see how the charts look if & as we approach it.

One strategy, besides booking profits there, would be to lower or trail down stops at that point so if QQQ does smash right thru T2, you stay short & if it rallies off that support, you get stopped out with minimal give back in profits.
