I put very little into what the Powell or any of the FOMC members say as they change their tune depending on what the stock market does. Several months back I had stated, emphatically, that they would start moving to a more dovish tone once the stock market fell to my targets, which they most certainly did. Keep in mind that they went from (I believe) 3 expected hikes in 2019 down to 1 so that is definitely more dovish. Had the stock market rally, yesterday's headlines would have read "stock market rallies on dovish Fed comments" but instead they are saying that they moved to be more dovish but not as dovish as the market wanted. Bottom line, the selling wasn't done yesterday, I believe it is just that simple. The market goes up when there are more willing buyers & goes down when there are more willing sellers. When the sellers outnumber the buyers during a correction or bear market, bad news is bad news & good news is ignored or spun as bearish. Vice versa during a bull trend. JMHO.

Randy About the nine minute. In this video you talked about the Vix being flat to down while the S&P was also down and I ran across on Twitter yesterday some interesting data I’m trying to post the picture here but I don’t think it’ll allow me to do a picture so I’ll just put it in the training room. Would like to get your opinion on that. Thanks so much

I’m mostly in cash as of today with a very small vxx position. Sold 75% of that nearer to the end of the day, but I’m not convinced the sell side is done.

@rsotc wants your take on the FOMC and Powells comment? Helps the bear or Bull case? Powell language seemed a bit hawkish than dovish to me and so far market reacted lower.
