Slow going on the gold bounce trade so far but it has regained that lower TL & currently backtesting it from above. Wish I had a better read on the /DX & /E7 60-minute charts but then again, based on yesterday’s big drop in /GC & the fact that it reversed off the 1852ish support, gold could very well mount a half-decent bounce even if the $USD also rises and the Euro falls in the near-term. The longer-term correlation is strong but there are plenty of times that correlation between the Dollar & gold doesn’t apply in the near & intermediate-terms due to strong buying or selling pressure in gold that overwhelms the impact of a rising or falling Dollar.

I agree with your wedge draw but when I look at the daily chart, my preference (right or wrong) would be to hold off on shorting SNAP for the time being. Maybe soon but I think the odds that 60-min breakdown may prove to be a whipsaw are decent. Thx for sharing.

Thanks for that clarification. I was referring to the fact that the findings that were released yesterday involved the results of only 94 people in that study. As per the WSJ:

The study has enrolled nearly 44,000 subjects in the U.S. and other countries. The findings released Monday involve a look at 94 people in the trial who contracted coronavirus and had at least one symptom of Covid-19.

Pfizer didn’t disclose the breakdown of how many of the 94 subjects in the analysis received the vaccine or a placebo. In the entire study, half receive the vaccine, while the other half receive a placebo. The more than 90% efficacy rate suggests that most, if not all, of the 94 sick patients had received the placebo.

Usually, but that depends. If I’m charting the futures, I always include the Globex session (’round-the-clock trading), so yes. On the index ETFs such as SPY, QQQ, & IWM, sometimes I will note if the indicators show divergences when I have the pre or post-market trades turned on but typically I prefer to use the normal trading session trades when confirming divergence on the intraday charts (e.g.- 60-minute time frame).
Usually, divergences will show up on the futures before the ETFs on the same time frame and I will add that the big trend reversals often come after the index ETFs have put divergences in on the 60-minute charts. However, divergence on the 60-minute charts of the futures only often result in tradable trends as well, although usually not as big as those trends that follow the divergences on the 60-min charts of the ETFs.
