I can’t make a strong case without any sell signals on the major airlines right now, but DAL & UAL both have divergent highs on the daily chart, & LUV just ran into the T1 level from the recent short trade were we hit all 3 of my price targets.

My price targets on shorts are support levels & support, once broken, becomes resistance. As such, a case can be made for an objective short on LUV here at resistance with a stop somewhat above. Personally, I want to see how the market acts following Warsh’s press conference, which starts in just over 15 min.

LUV also just hit the 70 ‘overbought’ reading on the RSI, which typically caps bear market or counter-trend rallies, if that’s what this is (assuming the Feb top was the end of the bull run)
