I didn't add arrows on the TLT chart either as it takes a while took a while to put that post together & I wanted to get it out asap. Basically, what I was saying with /NG is that the charts still look constructive (bullish) with more upside likely but in a perfect world, we wouldn't have weekly inventory reports on /NG. The weekly inventory report can & often does cause very sharp & immediate rips or dips in /NG, which is one of the most volatile commodities. As such, a more bullish or bearish report has the potential to foil the current technicals on /NG no matter how bullish or bearish the posture of the charts were before the report. Therefore, those swing trading /NG or UGAZ need to be aware of the risk of a sudden rip or dips at 10:30 am each Thursday when trading nat gas & decide: A) whether or not they want to hold or close their position before the report to avoid being caught on the wrong side of a sharp reaction B) tighten up stops if they decide to ride out the report (and risk having the stop clipped on the post-report "noise" if their stop is too tight, even if NG ends up going in the direction of their trade shortly afterward) or C) how much capital they are willing to leave at risk in case nat gas makes a very sharp move following the report that could potentially bypass a well-placed stop by a fair amount, should there be a strong rip or dip.

I'm not sure what to make of the UGAZ chart based on the one from the 19th. That chart showed higher price targets. This chart just shows where we are today I think. Should we be taking away the message that the chart from the 19th is off the table and we should close positions? Wait and hold? Add stops before report? There's nothing really there for those of us with limited experience . Thx.
