In the last update (Friday) on /NG (first chart below) I had stated that it had just hit the 2.72 target with negative divergence in place that indicated that the end of the run could be over & as such, it was best to either book profits or tighten up stops if holding out for more upside.

2.72 did indeed mark the end of the run for the last rally in /NG with the negative divergences being confirmed shortly afterward & playing out for a correction back to the 2.575 support. The 2.575 support & 2.562 support level just below offer objective re-entries although I'm standing aside for now as my confidence on just how far a bounce off those levels might go isn't not very high at this time. Previous & updated 60-min charts below.

Going forward, please try to keep the comments below the home page post related to the securities covered in the post above or else these threads start to go off-topic. If you posted an inquiry under any of the recent updates that I made on /NG last week & I've missed it (quite possible as I'm working on catching up to questions & chart requests) then I apologize.

I always provide suggested stops on the official trade ideas but this post (Charts I'm Watching) contains analysis of the broad market (via /NQ), gold, platinum,& the Euro. While all of those are also actionable trade ideas, they are unofficial trade ideas. They are all securities that I've covered recently & as such, some may already have positions & others might be considering positions. Regardless, one's stops should be based on their unique entry price(s) and profit target(s).

Correct. The images in the comment section do not have the zoom feature but you can just click on the hamburger menu (3 stacked lines or dots) on the upper right corner of Chrome or Firefox (and most other browsers) and then click the zoom (+) button after you've clicked on the chart to expand it.

Here's my 60-minute chart of /ES with some price targets/support levels & likely <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='1) A bounce/pullback off support/resistance and/or a temporary consolidation around that level following a well-established trend leading up to that point. 2) A reaction low or high is a distinct point where the price of a security changed direction.'>reaction</abbr> points.

Yes, typo. Meant to say that the first support/target at 8281 had just been hit. I'll correct the typo. While I'm leaning towards any <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='1) A bounce/pullback off support/resistance and/or a temporary consolidation around that level following a well-established trend leading up to that point. 2) A reaction low or high is a distinct point where the price of a security changed direction.'>reaction</abbr> being minor (i.e.- any bounce relatively small in both time & price before 8280 is taken out, opening the door for another wave of selling), regardless of whether that proves to be the case or not, /NQ needs to take that level out to increase the odds of a drop down to 8200.
