My initial & current only price target zone (T1 zone) at this time runs from about 261.80 to 270, which would intersect with the falling 200-day EMA & SMA’s, if hit anytime soon. The suggested stop is a daily close below 224.90. I’ve also added two additional potential targets, which might be revised to official targets, depending on how the charts of ERIE, as well as the insurance brokers sector, develop going forward.

As I had planned to spend this week scouring the financial markets for new swing trade ideas, I figured that I would start by updating the official active trade ideas on the site (located under the Trade Ideas category & sub-categories at the top menu of RSOTC.com). I might even do a couple of videos today (one for longs & another for short trades) covering some of the recent & not-so-recent, but still active official & unofficial trade ideas that stand out as either currently offering an objective add-on, re-entry (if profits were taken at a recently hit price target), or new potential/pending objective entry or add-on.

In going through the Active Long Trade Ideas, I wanted to point out that the /CL (crude oil futures of USO, crude ETN) Active Long Swing Trade with the initial entry on June 24th (and subsequent buy signal/add-on with the bullish falling wedge breakout & backtest) hit the first price target (T1) on Wednesday for a 9% profit. /CL (or USO) will trigger the next objective entry, add-on, or re-entry (for those that booked profits and/or reversed short to game the pullback off the initial tag of T1) on a solid breakout above the T1 level, especially now that it’s been hit, followed by the typical reaction to help alleviate the near-term overbought conditions.

/CL USO Crude Oil Swing Trade Idea 6-24-26

/CL (or USO) offers an objective long entry here at the 69.54ish support and/or* a breakout above the bullish falling wedge with positive divergences on this 120-minute chart. Stops would be somewhat below this support, using a favorable R/R commensurate with one’s preferred price target(s).

*and/or means a case for an objective long entry can be taken here at support, with either a partial or full position, or one could wait for a breakout above the downtrend line/bullish falling wedge pattern before initiating or adding to a partial position here at support (my preference).

I also just took starter positions in gold, silver, & GDX, which are also at support (my final price targets for GLD, SLV, & GDX from the recent swing short trades based on the daily chart) with positive divergence. Additionally, the $US Dollar ($NYICDX) just hit my 101.85 price target, which I highlighted in recent videos following the breakout above the 110.55 resistance. As such, a pullback in the $USD would most likely correlate with a bounce in the metals & miners (many of which are also at or near support). Video to follow covering the PM’s & miners asap.
