FWIW, I should mention that although I have CARA on my cannabis stocks watchlist as I found it when searching for marijuana related stocks, I don’t think that the potential post-election “buy-the-rumor, sell-the-news” sell off that I mentioned as a possibility with the pot stocks will apply to CARA, at least not to as large an extent as the pure-play, penny stock (or recently penny stocks, now $1+ stocks). CARA is a biotech co. & the best I can tell, only one of several drugs they have in their pipeline (clinical trials) is cannabis related & even then, as a cannabinoid receptor pain medication, I believe that drug, if approved, would not fall under the same restrictions as medical marijuana. Again, I could be wrong on that but I believe that the drug would be legal (as a prescription) in all 50 states. Just wanted to share that as if I am correct, the outcome of the 8 states voting to legalize recreational or medical marijuana today should have no bearing on CARA from a fundamental perspective.
