I honestly have no idea other than OpEx days tend to lead to elevated price swings, but then again, the $VIX has already recently perked up, so volatility is already here (the last 2 days are good examples). I wish I had a better answer for you, but I just trade the charts & try not to guess what opex, seasonality, certain days of the week, etc.. are going to do to the market.

hmmm...sure looks too easy to go short now....SQQQ hitting the 20 week too..and mmakers like to get best prices before a big move and expected range sort of already been hit......a little fishy before a weekend and holiday week imo...but who knows??
