Also keep in mind that the success (or failure) of this short trade on BABA as well as the NFLX short posted today largely (but not exclusively) hinge on my current scenario for QQQ playing out (or not).

Some breakdowns go on to backtest the uptrend line from below before continuing lower while some don’t. If BABA does backtest the wedge/trendline from below, that would certainly provide another objective entry. Of course, if it does’t, than one would miss the trade or at least end up having to short at a lower price & less favorable entry.
