I've been wondering how valid and useful it is to do TA on a gold or silver mining stock knowing the main driver of it is the price of the metal itself. How meaningful is that 22ish support on Barrick? If Gold drops, support breaks, if Gold rallies, it holds. I know the differences
but it's like doing TA on TQQQ and not QQQ. It seems to me that lines on a miners chart is a distant second to the price of the metal they pull out of the ground. What do you think? It would be great to get Randy's take on this if possible.

wATCHLISt

nice rip opvernight into new highs on SPY. looking for dip and rip. That said if we can't hold onto new highs, open to profit taking into end of day and ahead of weekend.

SPY -- nice new highs and testing the 388 level. ideally stop profit taking on open into 386.50 or 385 and then rip into 390s later though 390s-400 maybe a next could of weeks thing -- LEVELS: 368 , 370, 375.50, 379.80, 381, 384, 388, 393.50

TSLA -- into consolidation mode, failed at 880 again yesterday. -- LEVELS: 800, 820, 835, 848, 860, 880

TLRY -- looking for short squeeze. may dip on open into 25.50-26 and rip over 27.50, if that plays out we could see a squeezer into 30-32 by end of day. -- LEVELS: 24.60, 25.80, 28, 29.80, 33

GOEV -- doing its rangy thing but failed on gap into 19s. Overall like long on dips and daily chart for 20+ -- LEVELS: 17.20, 18.20, 19.20, 20, 22

TWTR -- sympathy watch on PINS -- LEVELS: 52, 54.20, 55.70, 56, 58, 60.50

APXT -- nice scoops sub 14, still long term swing idea,target 30-45 by June -- LEVELS: 11.80, 13.80, 15, 17, 19, 21.50

RIOT -- working nicely. long term thinking this see 50 by end of year risk vs 16.. -- LEVELS: 16.80, 18, 19.30, 20.60, 23, 27

AMZN -- got 3280 not 3260 as possible reversal. if dips on 3300 and pushes over hod, will consider long for 3370-3400. Might be a next week thing for a big move -- LEVELS: 3200, 3260, 3310, 3370, 3420, 3495, 3600

PINS -- trend watch. ideally dip and rip hard -- LEVELS: 77, 80, 84, 88, 90, 97, 112

PYPL -- potential to be a big runner like long on dips on 264 vs 262, under 262 will go short -- LEVELS: 240, 253, 254, 260, 264, 274, 285
