It looks like RIOT just hit $6.36 resistance and really there is just not much resistance if it breaks above & can go all the way back to 2017 highs of $47. I don't know much about the fundamentals of RIOT.. (I've researched ARB and that looks very sound with no debt and throwing off cash especially at these levels).. anyway - last time Bitcoin was here RIOT was trading at $33. Could be interesting to enter on a pull back.

I managed to get some scrappy Bitcoin around $12,000 and $12,500.. if history is to rhyme it could get sucked in to another parabola.

This time the fundamentals of owning it have matured somewhat. With the likes of Paypal offering a Bitcoin wallet and some big Hedge Funds now on board (Druckenmiller), Twitter founder Jack Dorsey's company Square buying $50million worth of coins in early October plus companies such as MSTR (Microstrategy) using large portions of their cash reserves to offset the Fed's debasement of the dollar. The advent of central bank digital currencies just around the corner means I believe there is a place for it now in portfolios. The retail crowd are not (yet) on board. Very close to taking out all time highs. This time it may not be in such weak hands, I believe serious players have been accumulating.

MSTR getting a boost on the heels of <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Buy-To-Cover; an order to close out a short position'>BTC</abbr> too.

Google trends..
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&geo=US&q=buy%20bitcoin

Anyway, I'm happy to hold a little bit alongside some gold, the dollar is looking seriously dodgy.

I concur. <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Buy-To-Cover; an order to close out a short position'>BTC</abbr> is trading above 18k. RIOT has exploded. it's definitely been a trend. I wish someone mentioned it earlier. I haven't been paying attention to BTC.

RIOT has been trending on the back of bitcoin. I own ARB (Argo Blockchain) a UK listed peer with similar mining power trading at a significant discount to US/Canadian cousins.

"..not-trending messy market" certainly applies to QQQ & SPY, both trading where they were almost 3-months ago, in a big & sloppy sideways range since then. Gold, silver, the miners as well as bond also dead-money (to losing) trades for months now & those (equities, bonds, & gold) are the main asset classes other than gold & real estate although REITs (IYR) have been even worse; stuck in an even tighter sideways sloppy range for nearly 6-months. Not many trend trading opps out there right now other than ag commodities (even oil locked in a sideways range), just relatively short-term swing trades within those sideways ranges on most asset classes.

Thank you for this video on the agricultural commodities. I needed to see this to be reminded that there are good trends out there, and I don’t have to be trying to trade every rip and dip in every other non-trending messy market. I look forward to taking things slower with longer term trend trades.
