GLD +0.97% vs GDX +0.84 as I type so nothing unusual. Also, keep in mind that gold is often a flight-to-safety instrument while GDX doesn’t hold any gold, rather gold mining stocks, with ‘stocks’ being the key word. As such, those stocks quite often come under indescriminate selling pressure on days or trends when the stock market is down sharply. As such, if the stock market were to sell off hard in the coming weeks, there’s a good chance that GDX could underperform gold, even if gold rises.

By all means, you should always be looking for the best short & longs you can find. Semis one of my favorites & I’m always open to ideas. If I’m correct on where the market is headed, then semis will most likely outperform to the downside as they often do during major corrections & legs down in bear markets.

My apologies for not covering it recently but I was stopped out of /ZW (wheat). The grains continue to fall despite the divergences so best to set fairly tight stops if still long IMO & not give it much more room. Will try to cover the grains in the next video.

Even with gold up, DJP is down and hitting new yearly lows. $ 31.15 today.

DJP hit a high of $ 40 in March 2022. That’s when Powell started raising interest rates.

Looks like commodities are going to stay down as long as interest rates are going up.

Falling knife. Looks like the entire 2022 range between 7.50-13.50 was just a massive topping pattern.

Usually we hear saying stocks trends like stairs UP and elevator DOWN but now we are seeing elevator UP and stairs DOWN!

it could go down to test the last years low in the 5s …….. not alot of support below here

I would like to see NVDA get pummeled from here, though. It could lose 25% and still be in an uptrend.
