I posted some very specific price targets on GDX & SIL recently & have also posted (with both static charts as well in many videos) targets for gold & especially (and more frequently) silver, which I usually prefer over trading gold. Also posted updated charts of GDX, SIL, & WPM in a post I made after this one today.

RBOB gas futures are certainly not my area of expertise but I'd imagine, just like other futures contracts (stock indices, nat gas, wheat, etc..) the price for each futures contract is set by market forces (buyers & sellers) based on where they expect prices for gasoline to be around the time those contracts expired, with a risk premium & other things factored in.

Of course, I'd welcome anyone that regularly traders RBOB Gas futures or has a more detailed answer chime in but at the end of the day, whether trading/charting futures or the spot price of an index, commodity, etc.. the same basis premises apply when using technical analysis so no big difference to me trading the spot price of something vs. a futures contract, although I like to stick with the current (most liquid) contracts.

Would you mind getting more specific about targets on the PM's? Also, if we anticipate yields to rally wouldn't that put pressure on the metals and cause them to fall and thereby provide a better, lower price entry?

Hi Randy, would you explain to me how to understand the future price of RBOB Gasoline, for example, RBOB Gasoline Jun future is at 2.5609. Does it mean the price of RBOB Gasoline is traded at $2.5609 per gallon? I found from web that cost of refinery gasoline is about $0.40 - $0.70 per gallon. How to understand the relationship of the future price and the actual cost of the product?

Not yet. Someone else asked the same thing a couple of weeks ago & my answer is the same. This link will start where I covered ANF... still waiting for a price alert to tell me when it breaks below the uptrend line: https://youtu.be/72kVUF5yL2k?si=zYGTkwzNx5ca_yqp&t=2526
